Rare News - Kaweah Cash, Judge Cash

Her sire is Rare News, si 92, by First Down Dash.

He's a 2-time race winner &

multiple graded stakes performer (5th Kindergarten Futurity-G1).

Her dam is a stakes placed winner & new track record setter

with a speed index of 102.

PEDIGREE           RARE NEWS          KAWEAH CASH

Kaweah Cash had her big, beautiful Rare News filly on April 18, 2007. She arrived big, yet not gangly or awkward, with loads of bone and muscle -- and determination! She's very pretty, too. She has her sire's big, soft eyes.

shez makin newz was up and walking within 20 minutes of  being born. While her mother was still down, exhausted from a long labor and the birth of a very large baby,  her daughter found the milk and tried to figure out how to nurse!

This nice filly is out of the well-made Kaweah Cash, si 102, a beautiful gray mare by Judge Cash, si 110, out of Lady Kaweah Jet, si 104 (by Mr Kaweah Jet, si 95, a son of Easy Jet, si 100 and half brother to the great Kaweah Bar). Kaweah Cash is a stakes-placed winner with 5 wins, 5 seconds, and 2 thirds in 18 starts. (2nd Charlie Russell Futurity-G3, finalist Evergreen Futurity-G2.) She earned $17,826. In addition, this eye-catching mare set a new track record for 300 yards (0:15.740) in 1998 at the Marias Fair, in Shelby, Montana.

SHEZ MAKIN NEWZ'S 2nd dam, palomino Lady Kaweah Jet, si 104, is a 6-time winning mare. She set a new track record at Ravalli County Fair (250 yards in 0:13.280).

Lady Kaweah Jet is the dam of 8 foals, 6 to race, 5 winners, 6 ROM, including Kaweah Cash (above); This Snow is Gold, si 107 (deceased) (by This Snow is Royal), 4 wins at 3 and 4, placed at 5, $17,108, 2nd John Deere Northwest Challenge, Finalist in John Deere California Region Distaff Challenge S.-G3; Go Kaweah Go, si 97 (by Deregulate), 4 wins, $8,784, Canada Hi-Point Three-Year-Old Colt, 3rd Charlie Russell Derby; Dancing Kaweah Jet, si 102 (by Gray Dancer), 6 wins, $7,345; Lady Kaweah Cash, si 80 (by Judge Cash), winner, $1,280; and Skirt Chasin Doc, si 87 (by Skirt Chasin Alibi).

HER 3rd dam, Shining Times, si 98 (by Now Is The Time TB), is a 2-time winner and dam of 3 foals, 2 to race, 2 winners, 2 ROM.

Fourth dam, Flying Storm Mist (by Bob Fish) was unraced. She was the dam of 11 foals, 10 to race, 7 winners, 7 ROM.

SHEZ MAKIN NEWZ'S  mother is the dam of 5 foals, 3 of racing age, 2 starters, 1 winner, 2 ROM. Two of her foals are going into barrel training -- and this fifth baby is going to hang out with some other nice foals and grow for a while!

SOLD. After she's weaned, Shez Makin Newz

will be going to Carson City, Nevada,

to prepare for a bright future!

Congratulations, Jeanne! May 3-07
