 PRAYING
BOY
(known as "Preacher") is a big, sound, handsome gelding with a
million dollar pedigree, a nice disposition, and a lot of "want-to."
Preacher is a
9-year-old unraced son of
Raise A Secret, si 99, a stakes winning earner of
$705,483.
His
dam is Flare For Toby, si 117, a remarkable multiple
stakes winning mare whose race earnings totaled $523,204. Flare For
Toby raced until she was 8 years old. She won the Charger Bar
Handicap-G1, Mildred N. Vessels H.-G1 (twice), Las Damas H.-G2, Miss
Princess H.-G3, and the Duplicate Copy Handicap. Flare For Toby was
named California Hi-Point Aged Mare.
Preacher not only has
a million dollar pedigree, but a million dollar personality to go
with it. He's a very nice horse to have around. Gentle and easy to
work with. Well-broke, but full of go -- he's not a beginner's
horse.
preacher
stands 16 hands, has
great conformation and good bone. Preacher has a deep heart girth,
high withers and good feet. He has a smooth walk and
gallop, but a rough trot!
Preacher has done a
little of everything, including being roped off of. He's a great
trail horse, loves to go & really wants a job. He's a well loved but
underused horse.
