Gotta
newsflash is a
beautiful, big Rare News yearling filly
out of Gettin
Into Cash,
si 105, by Roll The Cash.
Gettin Into Cash puts a lot of chrome on her foals. Gotta Newsflash is
no exception—one rear white stocking, one front sock and a white face. She
has a bit of a coon tail and she's turning roan! She
has a pretty head like her sire's, nice legs, great withers and
shoulder,
powerful hip and good angles.
"Kate" is a
big filly, powerfully put-together, with a
great mind. She is an "early maturer" — not
only in size, but mentally, too. She is
very correct and has excellent bone. She has
a nice big hip, well-developed
shoulder muscles, good bone and nice angles. She moves
beautifully — and though she is a quiet filly, when she and the other
yearlings
are running or playing, she cannot stand to
be left
behind — she has to be
first!
There
are some exceptional
horses on
Kate's
pedigree—Quarter
Horse Racing Champions, Kentucky Derby winners, renowned broodmares.
Gotta Newsflash's sire is a
big, powerful son of
First
Down Dash,
Rare News, si 92. He was a multiple graded
stakes performer at Los Alamitos. He had two wins
and was three times 2nd. Rare News was a finalist in the Kindgarten Futurity-G1
(placed 5th), Governor's Cup
Futurity-G1, and MBNA America California Challenge
Championship-G2. Rare News was also a finalist in the PCQHRA Handicap and the San Diego
Handicap. He earned $43,758 on the track. Rare News defeated the likes of many
racing greats, such as 2005 Champion Aged Mare Mini Rock, si 102, ($439,979)!
Kate's dam,
Gettin Into Cash, si 105, is
a three-time
winner who won at 400,
440 and 870 yards. She is a full sister to Roll Into Mischief, si 105,
Superior Race Horse, New Mexico
Hi-Point Aged Stallion (1995 & 1996),
multiple stakes winner, AQHA Racing Champion Aged Stallion (1st Alameda
Handicap (twice), Corrales Handicap (track record 400 yards in :19.690),
Santa Domingo Handicap, El
Camino Real Handicap, Cabeza de Vaca Handicap).
Kate's 2nd dam, Gettin Into Mischief (by
Streakin Six), is a stakes and Champion
producing mare. Her 3rd dam, Super Spree TB (by
To
Market) is dam of 7 TB foals and 4 QH foals, 10 to
race, 8
winners. 4th
dam Superupper TB (by Jet Pilot) is a 7-time winner
and dam of 12 TB foals, 12
to race, 11 winners.
Every
foal Kate's dam has produced that's
gone to the track is a winner.
Gettin Into Cash is the dam of 6 QH foals, 3 to
race, 3 winners, 2 ROM, 1 stakes finalist. He r 2-year-old colt
Gettin
Into Trouble just had his very
first

2006)!
