Kix Like Moonshine (pending with AQHA) is a very well made, good bodied, strong yearling filly by Rare News, si 92 (son of First Down Dash) out of Ah Yes, si 88 (by Moon Lark).

 

"Kix's" dam Ah Yes, si 88, is a stout, good looking mare with a HUGE pedigree. She's out of Cash Addiction, a daughter of The Signature, si 107. Ah Yes is the dam of 5 foals, 3 starters, one winner, one stakes finalist.

 

Her third dam, stakes winner and stakes producer Dashin Angel, si 102 (by Dash For Cash), had earnings of $153,340. She is dam to 18 foals, 16 to race, 13 winners, and 12 ROM, included is to is Dashin La Jolla, si 95, $54,928.

Rare News was a finalist in the Kindergarten Futurity-G1 (placed 5th), Governor's Cup Futurity-G1, and MBNA America California Challenge Championship-G2. Rare News was also a finalist in the PCQHRA Handicap and the San Diego Handicap. He earned $43,758 on the track.
