Rare News is a horse with lots of body, beauty and intelligence. This powerful, thick-boned horse was a multiple graded stakes performer at Los Alamitos. He had two wins and was three times 2nd. Rare News was a finalist in the Kindergarten Futurity-G1 (placed 5th), Governor's Cup Futurity-G1, and MBNA America California Challenge Championship-G2.
