IVE
GOT NEWS FOR YOU is a very nice
chestnut filly by Rare News, si 92 (by
First Down Dash). She's out of
A Lil Streakin Jewel (by Streakin Jewel).
Her dam,
A Lil Streakin Jewel, si 99, by
Streakin Jewel,
si 108, is stakes placed winner. From 10 starts at 2 and 3, she had a record of
2-3-1. She was 2nd in the Great Falls HRA Futurity. She is a very nice mare in build and
disposition.
Second dam
A Lil Cash, si 101 (by Better Judgement), is a 9-time
winner with earnings of $15,227. She placed 2nd in the
American-Canadian Derby and 2nd in the Charlie Russell Derby. She is dam of 3
foals, 2 to
race, 2 winners, 2 ROM, both stakes placed.
Third dam Miss Pearly
Bailey, si 91 (by
Racing Champion
Pacific
Bailey) is a 2-time winner
and dam of 8 foals, 4 to race, 3 winners, 3
ROM, 2 stakes placed. A
Lil News's 4th dam, Miss Pearly Loot
is dam of 8 foals, 5 to
race, all winners, 5 ROM.
"LilY's"
full-brother, A News Streak, is
currently
in training at Les
Bois.
So far this season, A
News Streak is a
race winner and 3-time stakes qualifier, with a speed index of 99!
LILY is a nice sized filly with good
bone and muscle. She has a short back and long underline, nice shoulder
and hip. She's well-balanced and made to run -- and she LOVES to run! She has an outgoing,
curious personality, she's bold, and not much scares her (as is typical of Rare
News foals). Lily is a very nice filly with a lot of potential.
SOLD.
This
promising filly has been sold
to Lisa Anderson & Denny Boer (of
Dutch Masters III).
Eventually, she will
be joining some of their nice
race prospects to prepare to be
a
racehorse herself!
Congratulations to
her new owners! 6-28-07
